Cattrall wants more ‘Sex,’ happy with Razzie nod – Despite a barrage of bad reviews and pair of Razzie nominations, “Sex and the City” star Kim Cattrall is hopeful for another installment in the TV and film franchise.

The 54-year-old actress says she’s glad the Razzies exist because “it keeps you honest.” She hasn’t been approached for a third film yet, but she says she believes the fan following is still strong.

Cattrall and her co-stars — Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon — share a Razzie nod for worst actress for “Sex and the City 2.” The film is also up for worst picture.

About 26 million Americans have diabetes, up 9 pct – U.S. health officials have raised their estimate of how many Americans have diabetes to nearly 26 million.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released the new estimate Wednesday. It means about 1 in 12 Americans have diabetes, a disease in which the body has trouble processing sugar.

The new figure marks a 9 percent increase from the 2008 estimate of 23.6 million.

Health officials believe diabetes is becoming more common for two reasons — more people are developing obesity-related Type 2 diabetes, and people who have it are living longer.

But CDC officials say an additional blood sugar test that’s now used more widely may be responsible for as much as half of the increase. ( Associated Press )

But Lady Gaga isn’t your typical, sweet-smelling celeb. She’s far, far from it. According to Fashionista.com, the shocking superstar is developing her first fragrance, and Mother Monster has reportedly requested that the scent “smell of blood and semen.”

Hmm, bodily fluids haven’t had as much success as, say, lavender or hibiscus in the world of fragrance, but Gaga is the queen of reinvention and pushing the envelope. And even though most of us probably don’t think we want to smell like blood or semen, I bet this racy new product will sell out instantly around the world.
